Montanov 68 (Cetearyl alcholo/ Cetearyl Glucoside –Seppic) 5%
Unrefined Shea Butter 5%
Sweet Almond oil 2%
Caprylic capric triglycerides 10%
Tocopherol 0.5%
Water 76%
EDTA 0.20 %

Procedure:
Melt phase A and B separately at 85˚C. When fatty
phase is completely melted, Pour the fatty phase into
the water phase in one step. Homogenize the emulsion for a few minutes
(rotor/stator turbine is recommended Homogenize a 30oz sample for 4 minutes). After homogenizing, DO NOT COOL EMULSION IN
ICE OR COLD BATH. UNLESS TEMPERATURE IS 50˚C.
Cool emulsion under moderate stirring. Phase C is added at around 30˚C.
MONTANOV 68
Ecocert Glucolipid emulsifier in harmony with nature. It can be used to formulate rich, smooth textures with any type of oil phase. In combination with the other grade of the MONTANOV range, it can be used to moderate the texture and flexibility of the emulsions as desired. MONTANOV 68 can promote liquid crystals according to the emulsion diagram, creating water reservoirs within the emulsion to help maintain skin moisturization. MONTANOV 68 offers the possibility to formulate without additional stabilizers.
